policy? Does anyone allow fires in their
parks? Do you allow people to bring in grills if they don’t have

– Do you reserve facilities over the phone? Is there a time
period when they need to have the

Successful New Summer Programs
– What are some new
successful summer programs you offered this
year? What was the cost? How many participants attended? What
supplies were needed? Bring photos to
pass around. What new trends do you see coming (dance, exercise,

Seasonal Wages
– In 2009 the minimum
wage will be increased to $7.25. How will that affect your
budget? Bring a copy of your 2008 seasonal wages and your
proposed 2009 wages. (Monroe)
Facility Guidelines
– What are your
guidelines for outside groups using ball diamonds, soccer
fields, etc.

does your department handle payroll? Timecards? Do you have to
punch in? How is it
tabulated? Do you use project numbers? Who enters payroll?

cons of mail in registrations? How are the forms set up and
distributed? Are there problems with people mailing forms in
