What is the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Foundation?
The Wisconsin Park & Recreation Foundation, Inc. is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization established to enhance the role of parks and recreation services in the lives of all the people of Wisconsin through support of the following activities:
- Awarding grants to parks, recreation, and related service professionals.
- Awarding scholarships to students in parks, recreation, and related service professions.
- Promoting the development of parks, recreation, and related service projects and programs.
- Advancing the concept of incorporating wellness principles into everyday life styles.
- Furthering education programs and projects related to the natural environment.
- Encouraging statewide research related to the impact of parks, recreation, and related services provided to the citizens of Wisconsin.

Donating is Easy!
The WPRA Foundation relies on annual donations, fundraising events and fund endowments to successfully serve the parks, recreation and related service professionals in Wisconsin. That means we always need support from Professionals like YOU! General Donations of any amount are always accepted.
