How to Thrive in Times of Uncertainty
Roger Wolkoff
Discover new directions for new normal. That’s right, new “normals.” We are emerging from an unprecedented situation we never dreamed possible – a global pandemic. You want and need essential tools to navigate the rocky waters of working with your people again. Everyone’s normal is new, and it’s not necessarily the same normal from person to person. Now, more than ever, it is essential to lead the way with authenticity. We help you discover what your normal is and why it doesn’t have to be like everyone else’s. How do you do it? Use the C.A.R.E. model: change, adapt, resilience, empathy.

Reimagine what life and work look like as we emerge and engage with each other again. This program focuses on what you absolutely must have to move forward. We give you laser focus on how leaders and teams have to change, adjust, and adapt. Let’s discover new directions for new normals. Together.

Introduction to education for Adaptive Swim Programs
Ailene Tisser
This presentation is for swim instructors who have the following questions:

1. Have you ever encountered a swimmer who is hard to reach?
2. Are you looking for more ideas for how to create diverse and inclusive programs?
3. What do you do when teaching the mechanics of swimming isn’t working?
4. Do you have challenges teaching swimmers with anxiety, motor difficulties and sensory issues?

Learn ways to figure out the underlying problem so you can overcome them for swim success as we introduce you to the resources we provide for Aquatic Professionals at Swim Angelfish. We will showcase studies and present information on our online Swim Whisperers Certification as well as our many free online resources.

Developing a Jr. Lifeguard Program: A Pipeline for Staffing Success
Jill White
It is harder than ever to recruit new lifeguards, but a strong Jr. Lifeguard program can keep your bench of potential candidates full. This session will help you develop strategies to keep 10-15 year olds active, involved, and trained to be your next generation of lifeguards. A combination of discussion and hands-on water activities will leave you with the tools to be immediately successful.
