Region I Update (Q3 Summer IMPACT)
Region IV was proud to host the 2026 WPRA Summer Camp Workshop on May 30, welcoming more than 360 camp counselors from across Wisconsin for a day of learning, networking, and camp fun!

From games and activities to leadership development and behavior management strategies, the workshop helps prepare camp staff to create safe, engaging, and memorable summer experiences for thousands of campers.

A huge thank you to all the presenters, volunteers, and attendees who helped make this year’s workshop such a success. It’s always inspiring to see so many passionate camp professionals come together to share ideas and continue growing in their roles.

Looking ahead, our next Region IV meeting will be hosted by Menomonee Falls on September 17 at 10:30 a.m. Members will have the opportunity to tour their new facility and continue sharing ideas and best practices with recreation professionals from across the region.

Also, be sure to save the date for the WPRA Fall Conference on September 23-24 in New Berlin. We look forward to seeing recreation professionals from across Wisconsin gather for two days of education, networking, and inspiration.
