Job Description
The Village of Bellevue is seeking a recreation professional to add to our team who is motivated to make a difference in our community and provide the highest quality of service to our residents. The Recreation Supervisor plans, organizes, promotes, budgets, schedules, directs, evaluates and coordinates an excellent mix of year-round community programs and activities for all ages. This supervisory position is responsible for part-time and seasonal staff along with volunteers. This position reports to the Director of Parks, Recreation & Forestry and works with co-workers, elected officials, civic organizations, volunteers, media and the public to achieve successful departmental results. The Recreation Supervisor is the department liaison to the Senior Advisory Board and facilitates those meetings and activities. Evening and weekend work hours are occasionally required to support programming and meet job duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration or related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in coordinating and supervising recreation activities, preferably in a community setting.
  • CPR, AED and First Aid training desired.
  • Certified Park and Recreation Professional certification desired.

Salary/Salary Range
The salary range for this exempt position is $49,000 - 70,409, with a starting salary up to $54,567, depending on qualifications and experience.
